Who we are
CashGo (cashgo.ca) helps Canadians find installment loans by matching their applications with lenders in our network. CashGo is not a lender and does not make lending decisions. This policy explains how we handle personal information on this website.
What we collect
When you apply
The application on our apply page asks for information lenders need to review your request, such as your name, contact details, address, date of birth, employment and income, and the loan amount you want.
When you verify your bank
Lenders ask you to complete Instant Banking Verification (IBV). It gives them a read-only copy of your recent bank transactions. It doesn't give anyone your banking password or the ability to move money.
When you contact us
If you use our contact form or the support and renewal forms, we receive what you enter: your name, email, phone number if you give it, and your message.
When you browse
Like any website, our hosting provider receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies on cashgo.ca.
Who processes and receives your information
- Our loan application form is provided by intelligentlds (app.intelligentlds.online), the application platform we use to collect applications and match them with lenders. Information you enter in the application goes directly to this platform.
- Partner lenders in our network receive your application so they can decide whether to offer you a loan. A lender that responds becomes responsible for its own handling of your information under its privacy policy, including any credit checks and reporting to credit bureaus such as Equifax.
- A third-party verification service carries out IBV on behalf of the lender reviewing your application.
- Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also delivers contact form messages to us by email. The support and renewal forms are provided by Cognito Forms, and the map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps when you choose to show it. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits in aggregate without cookies.
Some of these providers may store or process information outside your province or outside Canada, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
We don't sell your personal information.

Your consent
By submitting an application, you consent to your information being collected through intelligentlds and shared with partner lenders for the purposes above. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, though we may then be unable to process your application. Withdrawing consent doesn't undo information a lender already holds; contact that lender directly.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires, and then delete or anonymize it.
How we protect it
The website and application form are served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to personal information is limited to people and providers who need it for the purposes above.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. Email info@cashgo.ca with the subject "Privacy request". We'll reply within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca, or your provincial privacy commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
